GETTING YOU SET UP

Computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone?

RECOMMENDED SETUP

Using a computer, laptop or tablet

For the ultimate online lesson we recommend a computer, laptop or tablet with a webcam. This way you’ll feel like your instructor is right there in the room with you.

A larger screen lets us clearly show you techniques, fingerings and basslines on the bass, and help you through any challenging parts. You’ll also be able to view any music or documents we share with you during the lesson.

Every setup is different, so we’ll happily advise you on the best positioning during your first lesson.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Just a smartphone with internet and a bass

Yes — we can teach you live on your smartphone through Zoom, Microsoft Teams or FaceTime! A fast internet connection is recommended for a successful lesson, but most standard connections found in the UK and abroad will do the job.

We can show you how to best position your phone in your very first lesson.
